Love is In the Air Layout Contest

Since this is the month of love, we've decided to run another layout contest and we hope you decide to join us and play along in our "Love is in the Air" Layout Contest! We can't wait to see what everyone creates with their kits!!  Kits are $5.00 each and are available for pick up begining Monday, Feb 15th at 10am. Limited quantities.

Each layout must be an original work - no sketches or scraplifts please.

Layouts will be judged on their aesthetic appearance and creativity.

The deadline for this is Sunday, March 7th and your layout must be in the store by close on the 7th.

In your kit, you should find the following...

- two sheets of Bo Bunny patterned paper

- two sheets of white cardstock

- a half sheet of green Coredinations cardstock

- a half sheet of Bo Bunny polka dot paper in blue

- a sheet of red cardstock

- pink sheer ribbon with white polka dots

- 3 chipboard hearts

- misc buttons

***All of the items in your kit need to be used in some form on your 12 X 12 double-page layout (though you don't need to use every piece)!

***Please be sure to include your contact information when submitting your layout!

The patterned papers in your kit are double-sided, so you can choose to use one side or both of a sheet, but you need to use both sheets to some degree.

- tools are fine: die-cut machines, punches, corner rounders, etc

- ink, paint and journaling pens are fine

- computer journaling is fine

- use the adhesive of your choice

- additional product may be used as long as it's something we carry or have carried in our store and was purchased here

Note- By participating in the contest, you agree to have your layout displayed on the store blog as well as in the store for 4 weeks after the announcement of the winner. After that time, it'll be available for pick-up in the store.

Another Question...

Question: Can we use stitching on our pages?
Answer: You can do the piercing because that falls under tools and you can do pen stitching because you're allowed journaling pens. You can not do traditional stitching by machine or by hand because that would involve adding product (thread or floss).

Layout Challenge Q&A!

Well, we're very excited about the response to the layout challenge and kits are selling fast! Get yours while they last!

We've also had a few questions, so we'll be posting a few questions and answers on the blog here as we get them, so don't be afraid to post on the blog or ask in store!

Question: Can we use rubber stamps?
Answer: No, unless it's words/letters, etc. for your title and/or journaling since the rules state you can use the product of your choice for the title.

Question: Is masking OK?
Answer: Yes, as we said any tools, ink, paint, pens, etc. were fine.

Summer Layout Contest!

We hope you decide to join us and play along in our June Summer Layout Contest. We can't wait to see what everyone creates with their kits!!

Kits are $6 and will be available as of Wednesday, June 3rd!

There are limited quantities! First come, first served!

One per person, so you must pick up your own kit!

Each layout must be an original work - no sketches or scraplifts please.
Layouts will be judged on their aesthetic appearance and creativity.

Winner will receive a $30 Precious Memories Gift Card!

There's also a voucher included in all the kits for $5 off a $50 purchase the day you bring your layout into the store.

The deadline for this is June 30th and your layout must be in the store by close on the 30th. Winners will be announced July 11th.

In the kit, you would find the following:
- one sheet of Prima patterned paper
- two different sheets of October Afternoon patterned paper
- 4 sheets of cardstock ( 2 cream, one green and one blue)
- orange ribbon
- 4 orange gems
- one tag
- one acrylic arrow (covered in blue film which needs to be removed)

- 3 black brads

All of the items in your kit need to be used in some form on your 12 X 12 double-page layout!
Your layout needs to be a summer theme and the word "summer" must be on it somewhere: title, sub-title, journaling, etc.
Please be sure to include your contact information when submitting your layout!
