and help support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

A little less than 2 years ago our daughter Madison at the age of 7 was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. She will have this disease for the rest of her life unless a cure is found. Madison is insulin dependent and has recently started using the pump. Though this does reduce the number of insulin injections that she needs to take and helps her to better control her diabetes, it is no substitute for a cure.

We are asking for you to support our team "Madi's Crew" to help raise money for The TELUS Walk To Cure Diabetes in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Last year Madi's Crew raised over $4000 towards research for a cure and with your support we are aiming to surpass that number this year. We sincerely hope you will join our family and help us reach the ultimate goal of- A WORLD WITHOUT DIABETES!

If you are unable to come and would still like to help please feel free to donate online!

Customers have been purchasing our class kits for quite some time, so we thought we would finally advertise it as an option. If you are too busy to attend a class and just want the class kit (instructions and basic supplies) this is an excellent option for you! Some additional supplies may be required to complete project at home.

The Eraser Craze has Hit!

So...with the silly bandz tucked away neatly on binder rings, kids have moved along to the next biggest trend. Eraser trading! After searching high and low for anything other than the dollar store variety I couldn't find anything unique! But after attending a trade show last month, we came across these cool little guys!

We have hundreds of erasers, available now in store and only $1.00/pkg!! These are just a few of the designs available. Come and check them out and let the trading begin! Although, we have to warn you....they are so cute, you just might want to keep them all!

Tip: PERFECT for teachers, birthday gifts, party favours and goody bags!

These erasers are fully functioning, Environmentally friendly (Latex Free / No PVC / Non stickmaterial), and fun to play with! The erasers can be taken apart by color so you can play and assemble them in many ways. They are very detailed in their design, and are not painted. The parts are assembled separately by color.

If you are wondering how to keep these silly little rubber bands organized instead of all over the place, stop by and pick up a few of our Binder Rings!

We will be discussing the Copic colour chart, how to choose your colors, basic blending techniques and care/maintenance of your markers. Summer is officially here!
Precious Memories will be open the following hours throughout the summer:

Mon & Tues 10am-6pm
Wednesday & Thursday 10am-9pm
Friday 10am-10:30pm
Saturday 10am-6pm
Sunday 11am-5pm
We will be open 11am-5pm on holidays

Please note the change in our Friday Night Hours.
Effective July 2nd We will be closing at 10:30pm on Friday Nights.

What does this mean for Friday Night Crops?
We will still be holding Friday Night Crops every Friday night!
Friday Night Crops will now be absolutely FREE!!!

Do I need to pre-register?
Yes, you still need to pre-register but there is no fee to attend the crop. The only thing that we ask is that you please be considerate and let us know should you be unable to attend so that we can open up your spot for someone else!

Bunny Blog Rules-
Flat Bunny is anxious to get acquainted with true BoBunny fans (come be her friend on facebook, just search for Flat BoBunny) at a BoBunny sponsored crop. When Flat Bunny comes to visit, she will bring materials for a BoBunny crop! If you coordinate with a BoBunny retail store, Flat Bunny will bring materials so you can invite 9 of your friends to the crop for a total of 10. If there is not a retail store within a 50 mile radius, Flat Bunny will come with material for you and 4 friends to enjoy!

What you need to do-
1. Create an invitation featuring BoBunny products and send a digital image to flatbunny@bobunny.com along with signed business card from your favorite BoBunny retail store.*

2. Flat Bunny will post the card images she receives on the BoBunny blog (you will be famous!).

3. On the 10th of each month, she will choose her favorite invitation and schedule her travel to meet the winning designer.

4. Flat Bunny likes to be fussed over so you must take lots of pictures during the Crop and send them to flatbunny@bobunny.com. This way all her BoBunny friends will be able to follow the adventures of Flat Bunny on the blog.

Copic Workshop I: Introduction to Copics

You've heard all the hype about Copic markers, maybe you've even taken a class or two and used them. Come to this beginner's class and learn how to get the most out of your markers. We will be discussing the Copic colour chart, how to choose your colors, basic blending techniques and care/maintenance of your markers. We will be working on stamped images, however, no finished project will be completed in this class. All Supplies Included.

From Sketch to Scrapped NEW!

In this class, we're going to take a sketch (this month from Lucy Chesna at http://mysketchworld.blogspot.com and complete a double page layout in class. The first thing we'll do is choose papers that'll compliment your pictures and I'll be there to help you do that. Then we'll talk about the design, how you might want to change it to make it your own and how to simply get that 2-pager done! You're encouraged to bring pictures to help you pick your papers and so that you can go home with something finished. Remember that the sizes in the sketch can be worked with or your pictures can be cropped. Basic supplies for the layout will be included and then you can purchase any extras that night that you might want to add to your layout as well. I'll help with this too!
